Hexaglobe has opened a fully owned subsidiary in Amsterdam. The subsidiary will take over the hosting business and take care in connecting us to AMS-IX (a major european communications hub in Amsterdam). It will also establish a local presence in Amsterdam, an important place for the media business in Europe. Other local offices will open soon.

Hexaglobe has joined the Sebastian 2 project, a joint R&D project between tech companies, movie post-production companies and universities.
With a total budget of 7.6 Million Euros, Sebastian aims to change the way media companies do post-production and build a 10 Gbps network connecting the actors taking part in it. |

Our biggest customer for Hexaglobe Media Platform has passed an important milestone ! His flash video website has passed the 60 million user mark. This is yet another proof of the scalability of our platform.
And this scalability does not come at a cost. In all tests, we have shown that we have the solution that minimizes hardware and housing costs. |

It's now over ! We delivered for the European commission funded AXMEDIS project a state of the art P2P platform based on BitTorrent and containing many extensions allowing businesses to get the cost saving nature of P2P while securing their content and protecting them from pirates.
