An important Research And Developpement Effort

Digital Media is a moving business which has seen a lot of new technologies and usage changes over the past few years. And it's accelerating !

For our customers, it is very important to have a partner that adapt to new trends sufficiently in advance so they are able to offer their customers what they want. We are working in collaboration with universitites and laboratories like Telecom Paris, EPITA and University of Florence.

Recently, we have been selected to participate in the Sebastian2 R&D project, sponsored by Cap Digital (Paris region R&D association with government backing) with a budget of 7.6 Million €. This projects aims to allow us to deliver tools for the postproduction market and especially :

Rush storage and transmission.
Digital Asset Management for post-production.
Annotation tools.
Workflow management.
Render farms and compression farms, grid computing.

In the end, this will allow us to master the chain of digital media from postproduction to delivery to final customer, making a link between content creation and distribution. We believe that this link will improve the time to market of media players using it and that will be a big competitive advantage on the internet.
